Questions, answered.
The things founder-led teams ask us most, in plain terms.
What does Noma do?
Noma is an AI integration company. We help founder-led businesses figure out what AI can actually do for them, where to start, and then we build the systems to make it real. In practice: we break your operation down to its fundamental steps, find where AI can remove or shorten the work, and build the infrastructure that runs it and keeps learning your business over time.
What is “AI integration,” and how is it different from a consultant or an off-the-shelf tool?
A consultant hands you a slide deck; a tool hands you software and leaves you to figure it out. AI integration is the part in between that actually makes AI work: we pinpoint the highest-value opportunities, build the systems, put the right guardrails and human checkpoints in place, and train your team so it sticks. You end up with working infrastructure, not a recommendation or another login.
Where do most engagements start?
Almost everyone starts with a fixed-fee AI Opportunity Assessment: we assess your current state, prioritize opportunities, identify readiness gaps, and recommend the first initiative. From there, clients can address a defined operational problem through Custom AI Solutions or establish a governed company-intelligence foundation through Atelier.
How quickly will we see results?
Our typical projects take 45 to 90 days, and that’s how long it takes to realize results. We start with one workflow you can measure rather than a company-wide overhaul, so the payoff is clear and your real numbers come out of the review.
Will this mean replacing my team?
No. Our focus is productivity, not layoffs. We redirect the hours AI frees up toward higher-value work that actually grows the business, rather than cutting headcount. The goal is to make your existing team more valuable, not smaller.
We’ve tried AI tools before and they didn’t stick. Why is this different?
Most AI efforts fail at adoption and governance, not technology. We’ve done this before and consistently driven results, because every system we build includes a learning mechanism and a training plan, and we stay close enough afterward that it keeps improving instead of going stale. Building it is only half the job. Making it part of how your team actually works is the other half.
Do we need a technical team or a big budget?
No. We’re built for founder-led businesses, not enterprises with in-house AI teams. We handle the technical side, start small with a fixed-price review, and scale only when it’s paying off, so you’re never betting a big budget on an unknown.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Founder-led businesses across professional services, manufacturing, construction, field services, healthcare, logistics, and more. Anywhere repetitive work is quietly eating hours and dollars. If you know AI matters but can’t yet see where the payoff is, that’s exactly who we built this for.
Where is Noma located, and what areas do you serve?
Noma is an AI integration company headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina. We work with founder-led businesses across Greenville and the Upstate, and we run remote engagements with clients across the United States.
Is Noma an AI consultant, an AI company, or an agency?
People find us searching for all three: an AI consultant in Greenville, an AI company, an automation agency. What we actually do is AI integration, which covers the whole job. The strategy a consultant would give you, the build an agency would sell you, and the adoption work both usually skip. If you searched any of those terms, you’re in the right place.
